In this tutorial we're going to apply a pattern to a custom selection. In acest tutorial vom aplica un model la o selecţie particularizat. I chose to apply the US flag to a custom selection made to fit the US territory on the map. Am ales să aplice steagul SUA la o selecţie făcută la comandă pentru a se potrivi pe teritoriul SUA pe hartă.

Now, with the help of the Lasso Tool I made the custom selection to “fit” the US territory. Acum, cu ajutorul instrumentului Lasso am făcut selecţia obiceiul de a "potrivi" de pe teritoriul Statelor Unite.

Probably you have noticed that the custom selection contains the surrounding oceans also. Probabil că aţi observat că, de selecţie obiceiul conţine, de asemenea, oceanele care le înconjoară. To eliminate the waters from the selection I use the Magic Wand tool. Pentru a elimina apele de la selectarea am utiliza instrumentul Magic Wand. With the left Alt key pressed I removed the transparent pixels from the selections (these are the waters). Cu tasta stânga apăsat Alt-am scos pixeli transparent de la selecţiile (acestea sunt ape). Now right click on the custom selection and select Layer via copy . Acum, click dreapta pe selecţie personalizat şi Layer selectaţi prin copiere. A new layer will be created containing the custom shape (in my case the territory of the US). Un strat vor fi create noi care conţin formă particularizată (în cazul meu pe teritoriul SUA).

Now right click on the new layer and select Blending Options . Acum, click dreapta pe stratul de noi şi selectaţi Opţiuni amestecare.

Now click on Pattern overlay from the new window. Acum, click pe strat de model de la fereastră nouă.

Now select the Pattern picker . Acum selectaţi selectorul de model.

Now select your preffered pattern. Acum selectaţi modelul tău preferat. I chose the US flag pattern. Am ales modelul steagul SUA.

Now scale the pattern to best fit your layer. Acum, la scară de model pentru a se potrivi cel mai bine stratul de dumneavoastră.

Click Ok to dismiss the Blending Options window. Faceţi clic pe Ok pentru a respinge fereastra Blending Options.

Now select both layers in order to merge them. Acum selectaţi ambele straturi în scopul de a le merge. Click on one of them, then by pressing the CTRL key, choose the second one. Faceţi clic pe unul dintre ei, apoi apăsând tasta CTRL, alegeţi o secundă.

Now right click on any one of the two layers and select Merge Layers . Acum, click dreapta pe oricare dintre cele două straturi şi selectaţi Layers Merge.

That's it! Asta e! For a better look I added the Drop shadow effect to the layer. Pentru o arate mai bine am adăugat efectul Drop umbra pentru a stratului.
