How to play online radio stations in Exaile if the application won't open the .pls file ? Hoe spelen online radio stations in Exaile indien de aanvraag niet zal openen. Pls-bestand?

Sometimes Exaile won't open some .pls files. Soms Exaile niet open wat. Pls-bestanden. That is because it doesn't recognize the format of some playlists, but that doesn't mean that the playlist  is incorrect. Dat is omdat het niet het formaat van een aantal afspeellijsten erkennen, maar dat betekent niet dat de playlist is onjuist.

In order to listen to online radio stations in Exaile download your playlist to your desktop. Om te luisteren naar de radio stations in Exaile online download je afspeellijst op uw bureaublad. In my case I downloaded the playlist for the MegapolisFM radio station from http://78.24.50.58:8000/listen.pls . In mijn geval Ik downloadde de playlist voor de MegapolisFM radiostation uit http://78.24.50.58:8000/listen.pls. Save your playlist to your desktop. Sla uw afspeellijst op uw bureaublad.

Open your playlist with a text editor. Open uw afspeellijst met een tekst editor. For example use Gedit: Bijvoorbeeld gebruik Gedit:


cd ~/Desktop
gedit listen.pls


Replace listen.pls with the name of your own playlist. Listen.pls Vervang de naam van uw eigen afspeellijst.

Now copy the streaming url from the opened file. Kopieer nu de streaming URL van het geopende bestand. The url structure should be similar to the one in the image below: De url structuur moet ongeveer gelijk zijn aan die in de afbeelding hieronder:

Now switch to the Exaile window. Nu overschakelen naar de Exaile venster. Select the Radio tab from the left (like in the image below) and click on the add button: Selecteer het tabblad Radio van links (zoals in de afbeelding hieronder) en klik op de knop Toevoegen:

A window will pop up. Een venster wordt weergegeven. Fill in the fields with your preferred name and description, but in the third field paste the URL you have just copied from the .pls file. Vul de velden in met de gewenste naam en beschrijving, maar in het derde veld plak de URL die u zojuist hebt gekopieerd van de. Pls-bestand. Click Ok . Klik op OK.

After this double click your just added radio station from the Saved stations drop down menu, select your radio station from the playlist, press the Play button. Na deze dubbel klik je net toegevoegd radiostation uit de Opgeslagen stations drop-down menu, selecteer uw radiostation uit de afspeellijst, druk op de knop Afspelen.
