How to play online radio stations in Exaile if the application won't open the .pls file ? Cómo reproducir emisoras de radio en línea en Exaile si la solicitud no se abrirá el archivo. Pls?

Sometimes Exaile won't open some .pls files. A veces Exaile no abrir algunos archivos. Pls. That is because it doesn't recognize the format of some playlists, but that doesn't mean that the playlist  is incorrect. Eso es porque no reconoce el formato de algunas listas de reproducción, pero eso no significa que la lista de reproducción es incorrecta.

In order to listen to online radio stations in Exaile download your playlist to your desktop. Con el fin de escuchar las emisoras de radio en línea Exaile descargar tu lista de reproducción en su escritorio. In my case I downloaded the playlist for the MegapolisFM radio station from http://78.24.50.58:8000/listen.pls . En mi caso he descargado la lista de reproducción de la estación de radio MegapolisFM de http://78.24.50.58:8000/listen.pls. Save your playlist to your desktop. Guardar tu lista de reproducción en su escritorio.

Open your playlist with a text editor. Abra su lista de reproducción con un editor de texto. For example use Gedit: Por ejemplo el uso Gedit:


cd ~/Desktop
gedit listen.pls


Replace listen.pls with the name of your own playlist. Reemplazar listen.pls con el nombre de su propia lista de reproducción.

Now copy the streaming url from the opened file. Ahora copia el URL de streaming desde el archivo abierto. The url structure should be similar to the one in the image below: La estructura de la URL debe ser similar a la de la imagen de abajo:

Now switch to the Exaile window. Ahora, cambiar a la ventana de Exaile. Select the Radio tab from the left (like in the image below) and click on the add button: Seleccione la pestaña de Radio de la izquierda (como en la imagen de abajo) y haga clic en el botón Añadir:

A window will pop up. Una ventana pop-up. Fill in the fields with your preferred name and description, but in the third field paste the URL you have just copied from the .pls file. Rellene los campos con tu nombre preferido y en la descripción, pero en el tercer campo pegar la URL que ha copiado de los archivos. Pls. Click Ok . Haga clic en Aceptar.

After this double click your just added radio station from the Saved stations drop down menu, select your radio station from the playlist, press the Play button. Después de esto haga doble clic en su estación de radio acaba de agregar desde el menú desplegable estaciones guardadas el menú desplegable, seleccione su estación de radio de la lista de reproducción, pulse el botón Play.
