In this tutorial we're going to apply a pattern to a custom selection. В този урок ние ще прилага модел на потребителски избор. I chose to apply the US flag to a custom selection made to fit the US territory on the map. Now, with the help of the Lasso Tool I made the custom selection to “fit” the US territory. Сега, с помощта на Lasso Tool Направих потребителски избор на "подходящи" на територията на САЩ.

Probably you have noticed that the custom selection contains the surrounding oceans also. Вероятно сте забелязали, че на потребителски избор съдържа около океаните също. To eliminate the waters from the selection I use the Magic Wand tool. За да се премахне води от избора ли да използвам инструмента Magic Wand. With the left Alt key pressed I removed the transparent pixels from the selections (these are the waters). С левия клавиш Alt натиснат Отстраних прозрачни пиксела от избор (тези са водите). Now right click on the custom selection and select Layer via copy . Сега Кликнете с десния бутон на потребителски избор и изберете Layer Via копие. A new layer will be created containing the custom shape (in my case the territory of the US). А нов слой ще бъде създаден, съдържащи потребителски форма (в моя случай на територията на САЩ).

Now right click on the new layer and select Blending Options . Сега Кликнете с десния бутон върху новия слой и изберете Blending Options.

Now click on Pattern overlay from the new window. Сега кликнете върху Pattern Overlay на нов прозорец.

Now select the Pattern picker . Сега изберете модела за избор.

Now select your preffered pattern. Сега изберете вашето предпочитано модел. I chose the US flag pattern. Аз избрах флаг САЩ модел.

Click Ok to dismiss the Blending Options window. Добре Кликнете, за да отхвърли Blending Options прозореца.

Now select both layers in order to merge them. Сега изберете двата слоя, за да ги обедините. Click on one of them, then by pressing the CTRL key, choose the second one. Кликнете върху една от тях, след това с натискане на клавиша CTRL, изберете второто.
